Death, Taxes, and the Cavaliers sweeping the Raptors in May

CLEVELAND, OH — The Cavaliers swept the Raptors on Monday, which would be the second straight season doing so.  Cleveland has also beaten Toronto in 10 consecutive playoff games going all the way back to 2016.

“You’re looking at probably one of the guys that’s going to go down as one of the greatest ever, and it’s a matchup nightmare for anybody,” Raptors coach Casey said. “We’ve seen it with Michael [Jordan], we’ve seen it with Kobe [Bryant], we’ve seen it with a lot of great players … for whatever reason, we got the unlucky draw every year, going against him.”

Dwayne Casey saying they got “the unlucky draw” of facing LeBron every year makes 0 sense. Uhhh hey dude, if you want to make it to the Finals you’re going to have to play him anyway. I rather him just say, “yeah we just aren’t a good team” then say they got “unlucky”. What a fool. This is supposed to be a coach that is nominated for COY?

As for DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry—they need to get the hell out of Toronto and go somewhere in the West. I mean these guys just fold like a cheap suit year after year. They get legit nightmares of going against LeBron. The second they see they’re facing the Cavaliers they know they don’t have a chance. Just sad.
