The New York Giants fell to 8-4 on the season after losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-14 on Sunday evening. The Giants, who played their first winning opponent since early October, had trouble finding a way to put points on the board against a Pittsburgh defense that hasn’t been great all year.
Before playing the Steelers, the Giants opponent combined record was 5-31-1 in their last three games. What a joke! So what happens when the Giants play a team that knows how to play football? They lose pretty convincingly. The GMEN are one of the biggest frauds in the NFL and have a chance of ending the season on a five-game losing streak.
In their next four games, the Giants will play division leader Dallas Cowboys, NFC North Division leader Detroit Lions, and have to go on the road and face divisional rivals Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins.
To say that the Giants are a good football team is just a false statement. Maybe they have a good defense. Maybe. This is a team that had trouble facing the Bengals and the Bears. Saying they’re frauds is a big understatement.
We will see what happens to a Giants team that actually has to play some real teams now. Don’t be shocked when they finish 8-8 or 9-7 on the season and end up losing a tiebreaker to miss the last wild card spot.
